Celebrating the people, culture, and community behind the Woodhouse experience. We are incredibly proud to share some exciting news: Woodhouse Spa Gainesville has been recognized as a 2026 Best Places to Work honoree by Prince William Living.

For us, this recognition is especially meaningful because it celebrates something at the very heart of Woodhouse Gainesville — our people.
The Best Places to Work recognition celebrates local employers for the workplace cultures they create and the ways they invest in and support their employees. Areas considered include company culture, employee development, communication, work-life balance, community involvement, and employee recognition.
An Extraordinary Guest Experience Starts With Our Team
At Woodhouse Spa Gainesville, we believe the experience our guests receive is directly connected to the experience we create for the people who care for them.
Our massage therapists, estheticians, nail technicians, spa concierges, hospitality team, and leadership work together each day to create an environment where guests can truly Relax. Refresh. Renew.
But creating that experience requires much more than beautiful surroundings and exceptional spa services. It requires a team that feels supported, heard, appreciated, and encouraged to grow.
Our commitment to on-the-job training and hands-on mentoring, as well as encouraging team members to provide feedback and recommend improvements to spa protocols and processes, is an important part of our workplace culture.
Our goal is not simply to tell our team how things should be done. We want the people who work directly with our guests every day to have a voice in making Woodhouse better.
Pursuing Growth & Learning
One of the values highlighted in our Best Places to Work nomination is “Pursue Growth and Learning.” We believe great hospitality professionals are developed through a combination of training, experience, coaching, accountability, and opportunity.
From learning new services and protocols to developing stronger hospitality, sales, and leadership skills, we want our team members to continue growing throughout their time with Woodhouse.
As an onsite hospitality business, our team must be physically present to provide the personalized care our guests expect. That makes it even more important that we find meaningful ways to support our employees, listen to their ideas, and create opportunities for professional growth.
We Get Each Other’s Back
Another value at the heart of our culture is simple but important:
“We get each other’s back.” A luxury spa may look peaceful and effortless from the guest’s perspective, but behind that experience is an entire team working together.
It is therapists supporting one another. Concierges keeping the day moving smoothly. Hospitality team members caring for countless details. Managers mentoring employees. Team members stepping in when someone needs assistance.
And it is taking time to celebrate together, too. From team dinners and celebrations for reaching goals to holiday gatherings, summer get-togethers, and recognizing important milestones in our employees’ lives, we believe celebrating our people is an important part of building a strong team.
Those moments matter because Woodhouse Gainesville is more than a beautiful spa. It is a team of people.
Every Voice Matters
We are especially proud of the collaborative environment we continue to build.
Our service providers and hospitality professionals have firsthand knowledge of what our guests experience every day. We encourage them to share feedback and recommend changes when they see an opportunity to improve a protocol, process, or guest experience.
By involving our team in these conversations, we create an environment where every voice matters.
We believe listening makes us better — as an employer, as a spa, and as a local business.
Proud to Be Best Place to Work in Prince William County, VA
Being recognized as a Best Place to Work is also meaningful because Woodhouse Spa Gainesville is deeply connected to the community we serve. As a locally owned and operated small business, we are proud to provide employment opportunities, develop local talent, support other businesses and organizations, and contribute to the continued growth of the Gainesville and greater Prince William County community.
Every appointment booked, every guest welcomed, and every milestone reached helps us continue creating opportunities right here in Gainesville.
This Recognition Belongs to Our Team
While the Woodhouse Spa Gainesville name may appear on the recognition, this honor belongs to the people who walk through our doors every day ready to take care of our guests and one another.
To our entire Woodhouse Spa Gainesville team: thank you.
Thank you for your talent, your dedication, and your commitment to our guests.
Thank you for continuing to learn and grow.
Thank you for sharing your ideas.
Thank you for supporting one another.
And most importantly, thank you for helping us create the extraordinary Woodhouse experience our guests have come to know and love. We are incredibly proud of what we have built together — and we believe the best is still ahead.
